Dr. Nida Chenagtsang

Dr. Nida Chenagtsang will return to Boulder Valley Ngakpa House on June 24-26.

On Saturday and Sunday, June 24-25, Dr. Nida will give the two-day empowerment for the Rishis & Dakinis of Medicine.

This extremely rare and precious empowerment from the Yuthok Nyingthig tradition is especially for healers. It is also known as tsa dra, meaning "Pulse Divination." Through this empowerment, one receives the spiritual transmission and understanding of pulse diagnosis. These are very secret teachings from Lama Yuthok that exist only within the Yuthok Nyingthig tradition. One first receives the blessings and then does the meditation and retreat. Through this empowerment one can connect directly with the Medicine Rishis and Medicine Dakinis Who transmit omniscient powers to healers.

As far as we know, this empowerment has never been given in the United States before and was specifically requested by Lama Pema Chophel. It will be given by Dr. Nida Chenagtsang. Dr. Nida is a Tulku, Tibetan doctor, and, as the founder and director of Sowa Rigpa International, the foremost proponent of the Yuthok Nyingthig in the world today. Dr. Nida is fluent in English and teaches directly in that language without translation. He is also known as an exceptionally skilled and insightful teacher who understands the needs and wants of Western students. This will be Dr. Nida's second visit to Boulder Valley Ngakpa House.

Price: $100 prior to June 9; $120 after June 9. Remit via Paypal to: 13pemachophel@gmail.com

Post-empowerment dana (offering) and khatas are encouraged.

It is vital that all attendees arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start of this empowerment in order to receive the pre-empowerment purification.

Boulder Valley Ngakpa House is located in Blue Heron Estates just north of Arapahoe Ave. and 95th St. off of 95th. There is a gate, but this will open automatically as you drive up to it.

On Monday, June 26, Dr. Nida will give a workshop on healing the five main organs of Tibetan medicine via spiritual means.

In this one-day class, Dr. Nida Chenagtsang will teach a very rare spiritual technique for healing the five main organs shared by both traditional Tibetan and Chinese medicines. This technique comes from the "activities" section of the Yuthok Nyingthig Outer Guru sadhana (or practice) and uses the visualization of various healing Deities, the recitation of mantra, and the placement of special cards over each affected organ.

While anyone may take this class, in order to practice and use the techniques taught in this one-day workshop, participants should ideally complete the Yuthok Nyingthig ngondro and the Outer Guru Yoga practice. Each can be accomplished in a seven-day retreat.

The Yuthok Nyingthig is a complete Tibetan Buddhist path for medical practitioners of all kinds as well as the premier lineage of Traditional Tibetan Medicine (TTM). As head of Sowa Rigpa International, Dr. Nida is the foremost proponent of the Yuthok Nyingthig in the world today. Both a Tulku and Tibetan Medical Doctor, Dr. Nida is fluent in English and teaches directly in that language without translation. Dr. Nida regularly teaches throughout the world and is widely recognized for His exceptional skills as a teacher.

Cost: $60 prior to June 9. $75 after June 9. (Paypal: 13pemachophel@gmail.com)
